About us

Hello. I’m Natascha Mirosch, a print and online journalist, who’s specialised in food and travel writing since the 1990s (eek!).  You can see some of my work and some nice words by publications who’ve commissioned me here.

I’m gifted (or cursed depending on your perspective) with an infinite curiosity about our world and the people who inhabit it and decided to start podcasting last year (and blogging again more recently) in order to legitimise my nosiness and create the kind of ‘long form’ articles I used to love writing, but in a audio form.  I persuaded good friend and former journo and PR maven Sam Donsky to be my partner in crime and ExtraVirgin Podcast was born.

It’s been a steep learning curve for us both, but we enjoy it immensely.  We are travellers with voracious appetites for stories and food and look forward to sharing our own and our guests tales of both with you.
